Emilio Dorcely has a wide range of experience in philanthropy, government, real estate, and community development. His professional career includes positions with the Rhode Island Foundation, the Association of Black Foundation Executives, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and the Executive Office of the Mayor of Washington, DC. Prior to Bridge Street, Mr. Dorcely served as Director of Nonprofit Philanthropy and Leadership at the Washington DC-based Independent Sector. Mr. Dorcely began his tenure at Bridge Street in 2011 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President & CEO the following year. A political science and communications dual major at SUNY Oswego, Mr. Dorcely also holds a J.D. from the University of Iowa’s College of Law where he was a Thurgood Marshall Fellow.
